Our specialised socialisation program is designed to cater to your puppy’s developmental needs.
Our Puppy program in Adelaide is evidence-based, structured, and effective, helping puppies learn to independently navigate interactions with people and other dogs. Our experienced team will take care of your puppy during our standard opening hours, so your puppy's learning doesn't need to end when you head off to work.
All puppies are different; from the nervous nellies to ones that know no fear and let's not forget the small ones who think they're big or the big ones that don't actually know how big they really are! We work with all puppies at their own pace for them to build confidence and encourage their behaviour and ability to build positive relationships well into adulthood.

Grooming desensitisation exposes puppies to the process early and familiarises them with nail trimming, pad shaving, and coat trimming. This ensures that as they grow, no aspect of the process will come as a surprise. As it is your puppy's first groom with us, we take things slowly and only to the level your puppy is comfortable with. If they only let us cut one nail, that's it. If they want us to brush on one side only, that’s perfectly fine. The most important thing is that this first grooming session is a happy and
fun experience.
*While the grooming desensitisation session can be redeemed on any day during the program, we recommend the final day.
The cost of the grooming desensitisation session is $45.
At Paws Dog Day Care, we understand that our furry friends aren’t so different from us, and thrive best when given the opportunity to grow in a nurturing, supportive, and safe environment.
Clancy, our five month old mini schnauzer, had her first ever experience of doggy day care at Paws yesterday. What a success! She was happily exhausted and if she could speak would have asked "Can I go back tomorrow? Please!" It was just as positive an experience for us humans. Delightful people. We'll be back next time we're in Adelaide.
Outstanding Wineman
I drop my mums dog "Poochie" off, and all staff members are very welcoming and make it easy to drop and pick up.

Both our dogs enjoy their experience at Paws. They have become familiar with the term "day care" and on hearing that rush to the door in excitement and when arriving pull on their leads in their hase to get in. Best dog daycare place we have found and recommend to other owners. Thank you carers of our dogs. They and we appreciate you.

The collars should have no more than two fingers of allowance underneath. Any more could allow the puppy to slip out while on lead.
Owners can either bring their puppy’s lunch or lunch can be provided by Paws Dog Day Care for $4.95
We recommend five full-day sessions, a minimum of 5.5 hours each. For those puppies doing full-day sessions, nap time will be given after lunch.
